1. Can you see and be seen?

2. Check that your windscreen wipers can keep up.

You use your wipers the most during Autumn, so you need to be able to rely on them to keep your windscreen clear. If your wipers leave streaks of water or don’t clear the windscreen effectively, look into replacing your wiper blades.

3. Will your brakes keep you safe?

You need to brake harder on wet roads because braking distances increase on slippery roads. This style of braking can lead to excessive wear and tear on your brake pads and decrease your level of braking fluid. 4. Are your tyres up to scratch?

5. Check that your heater is in top condition.
